  • Do you recognize anyone? We would like to know their names.
  • Friday, February 23, 2001 was the date the last basketball game was played in the gymnasium prior to renovations at the school. This is:
  • The same gym we helped christen in September 1954 when we began our sophomore year in the "new high school".
  • The same gym where the girl's and boy's side were separated with the roll-up curtain and the balls always seemed to roll to the other side in gym class and the boys had to retrieve the ball!
  • The same gym where we had all our "pep rallies" before the football games, held intramural sport activities at lunch time, dances and sock hops sponsored by school clubs on Saturday nights.
  • The same gym that was totally transformed for our Junior and Senior Proms.

    was closed May 4, 2002.
    The school has been part of
    the community for over 75 years.

    The Nancy Allen, The Terrace Tower, The Drag, Highlawn Theater, Alban Theater, Valley Drive-in Theater, Hartley's Pizza, Smiley's, Twin Maples, Lower Falls Beach, Rock Lake, Holiday Park, Najar's, Powell's Drug Store and Main Street
     Hey guys, how about these places????    Do you remember the Blossom Dairy, Mary's Dairy Bar, Oscar Norris's Grocery Store, Young's Grocery Store,the Orlando Plaza, The Adobe Hacienda, The Kayo Station, The Sunset Inn, Powell's Drugs, The Bon Air Drive-in, The Choo-choo Inn, The Spot, Neil Striblings grocery store, how about skating at the Armory, and most importantly, Carter's pool room!!! haha!!!
